Do I need to be in Second Life to manage my rentals?
No. Nexysrent is web-based: you manage every unit from your browser, on your computer, tablet or phone. The units in-world take care of your tenants, and everything you change online reaches them in seconds.
Is it only for land?
Not at all. Land, homes, shops, skyboxes, stalls and more. If you rent it out in Second Life, Nexysrent runs it.
Does it work if I only have one rental?
Yes. One rental or a hundred, it works the same, and the price is the same too.
Why does the unit want debit permission?
So it can pay money out by itself: refunds (a wrong amount, a tenant leaving early, a tenancy you end with a refund) and the shares of a profit split. It never takes money from you otherwise.
How do refunds work out?
Only L$ that was really paid comes back, for time that wasn't used, at the price the tenant paid. Free time from a deal, or time you gave as a gift, is never refunded. So a refund can never be more than the tenant paid you.
What happens after the free month?
Buy the licence and carry on. There's nothing to set up again. Not convinced yet, or not ready? No problem. Running tenancies still finish, so your tenants never lose time they've paid for. Your units and your settings stay right where they are. Whenever you're ready, buy the licence at the Nexysrent Terminal and your units take rent again straight away.
Can my units speak my tenants' language?
Yes, with the All languages add-on: menus, buttons, reminders and receipts in 12 languages, each tenant in their own. Add your own languages or rewrite any message with the other add-ons. Your portal is in 13 languages for everyone, at no extra cost.
Do I need an email address?
No. Everything works with IMs in Second Life. Add an email address if you'd like notifications by email, or a code by email when you forget your password. We never use it for marketing.
Will I have to read notecards or a wiki?
No. The starter pack has one short Start here card, and that's it. In Second Life you just touch and tap: every menu explains itself. Want to know more? The manual in your portal has it all, in plain words.
